The Environmental Science AS degree program is for students interested in environmental issues, sustainability, and the effects of climate change on the environment.

 

This degree is designed for seamless transfer to BS degree programs in Environmental Science at SUNY 4-year colleges and universities, and most credits will be transferable to BS degree programs in biology, chemistry or environmental science at other colleges or universities. Upon completion of this degree, employment is possible in state/local resource conservation agencies, tourism industry for tourist activity monitoring and education, and in industries looking to hire students with experience in biological and chemical laboratory procedures. The program will promote education and economic opportunities for the students in technical and cultural based careers.
