Cross-Registration Policy

SUNY Adirondack matriculated students may cross-register for courses (online or face-to-face) provided they meet the rules, procedures, fees, and deadlines for the home and host campus. It is the student’s responsibility to be aware of these conditions before they cross-register and should meet with their advisor prior to submitting any cross-registration request. Student must be in good academic standing with a 2.0 cumulative average or higher. Decisions will be based on program applicability, course offerings, course availability and timely degree completion. The College maintains the right to limit cross-registration.

Cross registration is typically available for the Fall and Spring semesters, but other semesters may be eligible. Cross-Registration requests for any given semester may be submitted no later than the end of the drop/add late registration period for SUNY Adirondack courses. Any registration that occurs prior to the cross-registration approval will not be converted to a cross-registration. Students must submit the SUNY Cross-Registration Agreement Online form available at www.suny.edu/crossregistration/.

Students matriculated at other SUNY campuses wishing to cross register at SUNY Adirondack should follow their home campus’s procedures, deadlines and utilize the current SUNY cross-registration procedure. All transfer credit policies apply to cross-registered courses.
