ART 108 Advertising Photography

An intermediate course in advertising photography. Students learn advanced camera techniques, studio lighting, digital editing and advertising theory and design to create persuasive images that sell products, lifestyles, concepts or ideas. Students will develop an in-depth understanding of conceptual ideas, history and theories in advertising and consumer behavior of individuals and cultures as it relates to commercial marketing techniques. Topics include photo illustration, editorial, fashion photography, and promotional photography.
