BUS 195 Fundamentals of Agribusiness

This course develops ones awareness for the size and complexity of agribusiness through the history of agriculture and the evolution of agribusiness. The course explores the challenges of owning and operating an agribusiness with topics on farm management, finance, marketing and various types of agribusiness. This course also examines the input section of agriculture from fertilizer to machinery and governmental impacts. Finally the output section of agribusiness is reviewed to see the distribution of products after they leave the farm. Futures, international marketing and other agrimarketing channels are exposed.
