PSC 215 American Constitutional Law

An introductory survey course in American Constitutional Law, a foundation for more specialized courses on the Constitution and public law. The course explores the structure of the Constitution and the constitutional basis for the United States government; Civil Liberties, and Civil Rights, with a focus on the First and Fourteenth amendments, through the lens of Supreme Court decisions that have helped and hindered minority groups (race, class, gender, disabled).
