Greetings! We are delighted that you have joined the SUNY Adirondack community. Earning a college credential is the single most important step you can take to build your future, and we are here to help you achieve this goal. At SUNY Adirondack you will learn to wrestle with complex issues, develop hands on skills, harness your passion and compassion to improve the world around you, and engage with people different from yourself. You will be challenged and supported on your learning journey by our outstanding faculty and staff and through the relationships you will build with other students.
This student handbook is a resource to help answer questions that may be on your mind. Whether you will attend SUNY Adirondack on one of our beautiful campuses, through online learning, or a combination of both, we are ready to help you. We take seriously our commitment to provide an affordable, high-quality education and supportive student services that will help you achieve your goals for learning and for life after college. Our programs and our people will help you become a lifelong learner and prepare for an exciting career, whether you plan to transfer first to a university or move directly to work following your SUNY Adirondack education.
The key to your success at SUNY Adirondack is to take advantage of everything we have to offer: ask questions, suggest ideas, attend classes and faculty office hours, participate in our many activities, and ask for help when you need it. We are here for you.
