Academic Honesty
Academic honesty is at the core of each student’s education. Every SUNY Adirondack student is responsible for doing their own work. Examples of dishonest academic behavior include, but are not limited to: cheating, plagiarism, unauthorized collaboration, paying for pre-written work, impersonation and/or inappropriate use of electronic, web, or artificial intelligence resources. Academic dishonesty charges are subject to penalty as determined by the Associate Vice President for Academic Affairs and/or the Student Disciplinary Review Board. These penalties may include course failure, suspension, or dismissal.
