International Students
Students who are citizens of other countries must complete the State University of New York (SUNY) Application or the SUNY Adirondack Application and all supplemental information forms which are available on the college's website at www.sunyacc.edu/international-students.
In addition, students must submit English Proficiency exam results per the following table:

Students must submit an official high school transcript that is translated into English and displays a clear date of completion. The college reserves the right to request a student complete an official document-by-document evaluation of their high school transcript from WES, https://www.wes.org/, if the previous conditions are not met. Students looking for transfer credit must request an official course-by-course evaluation of your college-level classes from WES, https://www.wes.org/ and submit this to the Registrar’s Office.
The international student application and supplemental information forms must be completed and on file in the College Access (Admissions) no later than July 15 for the fall semester and December 15 for the spring semester. Please note, all official documents must be on file in the Admissions Office by the application deadline to issue an I-20.
Non-matriculated international student registration requests, with accompanying English proficiency scores, must be completed and on file five business days prior to the start of a semester.
English Proficiency Exemption Requirements
Citizens of these countries do not have to submit English proficiency scores due to English being the native language:

Students from secondary schools where English is the primary instructional language are exempt from IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or similar English language proficiency college threshold scores. Students from secondary schools where English is not the primary instructional language will be held to the same college English proficiency standards listed above in Table 1: English Proficiency Standards.
