HRD 178 Applied Learning Internship

An applied learning experience in an environment related to the student's career interest. This experience can occur in a variety of liberal arts disciplines including education, science, human service or the humanities. Hands on experiences will be supplemented by reading, writing, and critical thinking in online or classroom assignments. Students will identify a unique field placement based on their specific career goals. Students may register for 1 credit and spend 40 hours in the internship or 3 credits and spend 120 hours in the internship. Prerequisite: Students must have at least 15 earned credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.0 and instructor approval.
