PSC 106 Introduction to Comparative Politics

This course will introduce students to different world regions and nation-states in comparison with one another and with the United States. The course will include an analysis of political and electoral institutions and processes in the contemporary world, emphasizing the interaction of political and electoral structures and processes in a variety of political settings. Cases will be drawn from different countries and historical periods to give students a grounding in the method of comparative analysis.
