Financial Aid

The Financial Aid Office at SUNY Adirondack annually administers nearly $20 million through various federal, state and institutional aid programs. With the exception of the state grant programs, which are intended to fund tuition only, these monies may be used toward all costs related to attendance. Costs include but are not limited to: tuition, fees, housing and food (including on-campus housing), books, transportation, and personal expenses.

Financial Aid representatives are available in Warren Hall weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. to answer questions and offer assistance on a walk-in basis. General information can be obtained by telephone by calling (518)743-2223. If you would like to make an appointment to meet with an administrator regarding in-depth questions or concerns, please call the Financial Aid Office at 518.743.2223 or email finaidoffice@sunyacc.edu. Evening appointments can also be arranged.

The student portal and/or Student Banner can also be used to answer many of your questions; we encourage all students to log in on a regular basis. Requirement Tracking will answer questions about the receipt of your FAFSA record or outstanding documentation needed prior to awarding aid. Perhaps the most important section of Student Banner is the Award section – review your aid eligibility, accept offered loans and work study. The Financial Aid History section will show aid received in 2007-2008 and beyond including your past and current loans if applicable.  Within the Student Accounts section, the Account Detail by Term option allows you to see how your aid is applied or deferred against your semester bill.
