CIS 278 IT-Cybersecurity Internship
A supervised cooperative work experience in an approved IT computer cybersecurity learning environment outside the formal classroom. Students will complete a minimum of 120 hours performing assignments in a work-learning situation related to his or her course of study and career goals. Companies may perform background checks, drug testing, evaluate physical and professional readiness, etc., which may preclude students from acquiring an internship. Prerequisite: GPA 2.6 in core curriculum, CIS 232 and CIS 235 (Pre/Corequisite). Students may be required to lift up to 30 pounds, sit and/or stand for long periods of time, and walk in excess of 2 miles.
