ART 252 Graphic Arts II
An intermediate level course covering the practice, history, and theory of graphic artwork and design. Instruction, demonstrations, and exercises related to the Elements of Art and Principles of Design will be explored. Students are encouraged to explore conceptual topics related to both historical and modern design themes. Creativity is fostered by producing work based on original imagery and ideas. Students will regularly participate in group discussion and critiques to analyze their own and peer’s portfolio items.
