INT 206 International Study - Saga City, Japan
A cultural exchange program with Japan in which participants live with host families and gain cultural awareness and understanding through direct experiences and immersion. A focus of study is developed based upon the expertise of the instructor. Formal classes are taken at a university in Japan covering a broad range of subjects including language, art, culture and cuisine. Excursions are designed in relation to the particular focus of study for the exchange. Students participate in independent study and research for an approved topic of interest. The course can only be taken once. Not open to students with prior credit for international travel to Saga City, Japan.
