TEC 107 Mechanical Technology I
A mechanical technology foundation course emphasizing drafting theory, content creation, two-dimensional drawing and three-dimensional modeling. Includes an introduction to the use of graphics in engineering design and construction. Attention is placed on the visualization of both two and three-dimensional design and the ability to communicate ideas graphically. Topics include an introduction to CAD software techniques, creation and editing of geometry, plotting, and single & multiple view drawings, and an introduction to three-dimensional and solids modeling.
