Academic Honors

A President’s List is prepared during the fall and spring semesters for those matriculated students whose grade point average is 4.0 for full-time students earning 12 credits or more that semester, with no grades of F, X, I, U, or O. 

A Dean’s List is prepared during the fall and spring semesters of those matriculated students whose grade point average is 3.20 or higher for earning 6 or more credits that semester, with no grades of F, X, I, U, or O.

Graduation honors are awarded for the cumulative grade point averages listed below:

3.20 - 3.49	Cum Laude
3.50 - 3.79	Magna Cum Laude
3.80 - 4.00	Summa Cum Laude

A Phi Theta Kappa designation is awarded to those students who have been inducted into the SUNY Adirondack Phi Theta Kappa honor society chapter and remain members in good standing.
