AVS 221 Challenge Course Facilitation
This course emphasizes core competencies and the role of a facilitator in the challenge course environment. Focusing on techniques necessary to maximize effective teaching in: individual and group goals, conflict resolution, reflective listening, leadership roles, transference, and reflection. Students learn and practice specialized technical skills necessary for managing low and high challenge course elements. This course is designed for students who plan to lead groups in challenge course settings.
