BUS 156 Quickbooks Microcomputer Applications
An expanded, involved, advanced course in computerized accounting systems & applications using Quickbooks and microcomputers. Course coverage includes updating, financial records, generating reports, tracking revenue and expenses, controlling and protecting data, file management, progress billing, processing receivables and payables, inventory maintenance, invoicing and time and payroll accounting. A critique of the strengths and weaknesses of the major accounting software programs will be performed. Prerequisites: BUS 146 or BUS 146B with a grade of C or better or permission of instructor.
