AGR 125 Cannabis & Hemp: Harvesting & Introduction to Processing

This course provides a comprehensive overview of the techniques and methods used to properly harvest and process hemp and cannabis in the state of New York. Students will learn about the difference between concentrates and extracts, intake and light processing techniques, and lightly processed cannabis products. Additionally, the course provides an in-depth analysis of solvent less and solvent-based extraction methods, post-extraction processes, and infusion. Students will have a thorough understanding of how high-quality, safe, and legally compliant cannabis products are created. By the end of the course, students will have gained practical knowledge and skills in cultivating and harvesting high-quality cannabis & hemp products.
