ENG 222 The Graphic Novel as Literature

A survey of graphic literature, stories told in comic form, that address literary conventions through the interaction of images and the written word. Students will analyze visual images alongside written literature to understand how both impact our understanding of diverse identities, cultures, societies, and communities.
