CUL 178 Culinary Arts Internship

Students are placed in a work learning facility, evaluated by their chef or manager. The facility is arranged by the student and chef instructor based on career interest. During the internship, students are required to keep weekly journals of the day to day activities they participated in. After the completion of the required hours, the student must submit documentation of work experience as a portfolio. The student’s jobsite supervisor must complete the student evaluation form to be submitted to the chef instructor. Students must be enrolled in or completed CUL 128 to register for 1, 2 or 3 credits.
