SUNY Adirondack offers a two-year Liberal Arts and Sciences Associate in Science (AS) degree in Mathematics and Science with a concentration in Mathematics. This concentration awards a two-year AS degree and sets a solid base for students to transfer to a four-year institution. The Math concentration prepares students for further education and eventual careers in several fields such as: actuarial science, operations research, biomathematics, cryptography, finance and secondary education. Recommended high school preparation: Biology, chemistry, physics and four years of math.
