This program is designed for students who wish to transfer to a baccalaureate business or economics curriculum. Its flexibility permits the students to work with their SUNY Adirondack advisors to adapt the program to the requirements of their intended transfer institution. At the transfer institution the students may specialize in areas such as accounting, business education, business management, economics, finance, marketing, and pre-law. Recommended high school preparation: Four years of mathematics.

  1. Students may need to take MAT 108 based upon their math placement scores. Students can use MAT 130 to meet degree MAT requirements.
  2. Students shall meet with their assigned advisor and discuss program requirements of the transfer institution in selecting their mathematics, liberal arts and sciences and elective coursework. This degree conforms to these SUNY Transfer Paths:

    BUSINESS MAT 131 is recommended, but required for junior status at most major SUNY Universities.

    ECONOMICS MAT 121 and MAT 125 are required; MAT 131 is recommended.

    HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT HOS 193 (Spring only) or HOS 265 (Fall only) shall be taken as elective credit
