The Fine Arts AS is designed to prepare students for transfer into a baccalaureate program in accordance with the Art Studio transfer path. Students will be able to transfer into programs of Fine Art, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Art Education, Illustration and similar. Students will observe and learn about various interactions between art, artists and the local, national and global communities and be able to recognize the value of these relationships. Coursework will consist of traditional design, drawing and art history, with options for focused study. Visits to galleries and museums, visiting lectures from art related fields as well as portfolio development will round out the student experience.
